1 in 3 US moms suffer from Diaper Need. In 2018, we generously donated over 22,000 diapers and 19,000 wipes to 7 local agencies that support local families suffering from diaper need. Help us again by bringing in diapers and wipes in April. No mother should have to worry about Diapers! Questions? Contact Angela Emrich.
The last week of March, Pastor Jon and Elder Colin Kelly signed a partnership covenant with the community of El Cubulero in Honduras to install a water purification system in 2019. We are so excited for this new partnership! Learn about our work with Living Waters for the World, at an informational meeting at 4pm this Sunday in Spellman Jr. even if you are not necessarily interested in going on a trip. We will cover what we have done to date, the status of our three projects, and plan for the future. Questions? Contact Jon Frost.
If you use Spotify and attend the 11:10 service, or enjoy contemporary music, check out this playlist for Eastertide. It will be updated with songs we will use over the next several weeks. Note: these songs are the original recording artist, not recordings of our worship band. Questions? Contact Jon Frost.
Christians celebrate the joy of Christ’s resurrection from Easter to Pentecost. During this season of Eastertide, we invite you to notice awe-inspiring sightings each day, and share them in our Facebook group. Capture your sighting via a photo or video, or create a drawing, painting, or collage and post it, or share a link to an awe inspiring article you’ve read. Questions? Contact Lynn George or Jennie Clark.

The library committee wants to thank you for your very generous support during library week. We had a tremendous response to our request for donations. 22 titles were selected; that’s an 85% response rate to our request! We’re excited about adding the variety of books and other materials to our collection for our members’ enlightenment.

The labyrinth will be set up during Holy Week in Spellman Hall. All are invited to walk the labyrinth. This is an opportunity to reflect upon Jesus and the events of this week that lead to the cross. Walking the labyrinth is prayer in motion. Walking invites us to open to God who is on the journey with us. Finger labyrinths are available for those who have difficulty walking. There will also be stations around the outer perimeter of the labyrinth for reflection. There is a special Scripture and reflection for each day of Holy Week.

Holy week is the most beautiful and the most important of the church year. It is the drama of our salvation and our life. It is also a week of profound renewal. We renew our baptismal life as we see again the battle that God in Christ wins against all the powers of darkness and destruction in our world and in our lives.
A meaningful way of praying this week is simply to follow it. All we have to do in our prayer is be open and receptive, content to follow and to receive what God chooses to give us. In this way our prayer enters into the way Christ lives . He allows himself to be taken on a journey by the Father. Thy will be done. So let scripture and reflections take you on this road. Be attentive to it. Notice its details. Entrust yourself to it.
