Imago Dei Youth Ministry
"We strive to walk alongside youth as they continue to discover who they are and who they are becoming"
Check out the highlights from the high school Reality Retreat 2018!
Every Sunday we invite youth to spend time asking questions and learning about life, faith, and God.
9:45-10:45am in The Cove
High school youth spend time exploring connecting threads of faith, life, and real world events and topics. Come for coffee, food, and great conversation.
9:45-10:45 in The Site
Youth in grades 6-8 spend time engaging in Bible study and tough questions about life and faith together. Come join them for games, crafts, and hands on activities.
Come hang out for snacks, meaningful conversations on faith and life, and opportunities to just enjoy being together in community.
Spotify Gospel - bring music you love and connect with to Youth Group! We'll engage how these songs help youth connect with life experiences like love, pain, joy, comfort, doubt, etc.
Compassion of the People - We spend time learning about power, building empathy, and engaging Bible stories about Jesus that empower youth to be allies.
As youth discover how God is calling them to live into God's dreams for the world, we believe that participating in hands on missional service and partnerships is such an important part of following Jesus into the world. We hope youth and adult volunteers will join us in these opportunities that offer the hope that better world is possible!
Every month youth in grades 6-12 spend time at The Bridge Academy in Coatesville to help with their elementary age homework club. Through music, games, art, snacks and other activities, the homework club offers a safe space for kids to spend time on school work and other hands on activities. Contact Laura Davis if you would be interested in serving.
We are starting a 4 week support group for teens who are struggling with their experience of stress and anxiety. The group is open to any youth in grades 6-12, though middle school and high school will meet separately. Dinner is provided each week and we provide time and space for youth to talk through their experiences. Through this time we'll also help equip them with skills to help them cope in healthy and helpful ways so they can flourish, even when they are faced with anxiety or stress.
