KidsConnect Kickoff Sunday

9:30 or 11am September 9
Join us as we kickoff the fall KidsConnect ministry. All families are invited to meet your children's teachers before worship. Register your child for Sunday KidsConnect (4 Year Old-Grade 5) or Childcare (6 month - 3 year olds) and click here to see the 2018-2019 KidsConnect children and family ministry brochure with a list of our 2018-2019 events and activities. Questions? Contact Sue Spotts.

Return & Donate to Our Library

Our library is excited to reopen with its new checkout system on September 9. Did you take library books home this summer? Please return them by dropping them in the return bin just inside the door. We'll give them spiffy new barcode labels and then place them on the shelf ready to be borrowed again. Or consider donating books, CDs, or DVDs to the library for others to enjoy. We accept books that have been published in 2000 or later, and have no notes in the margins, highlighting or underlining. Just drop them in our donations bin. Questions? Contact Ginny Keib.

We Want Your Kids for KidsJAM!

We have a wonderful music choir, KidsJAM, planned for children (K-5th grade) on Wednesday afternoons. All are invited to participate. While having fun, singing, playing drums, and enjoying games, we’ll use music to teach God’s message of love. Our goal for this time is to help train our children to worship, to grow closer to Jesus, and to be stronger in their faith. Register online. Questions? Contact Bob Morris.

New Partnership with West Chester University

According to a recent study at WCU 31.7% of students on campus are facing food insecurity. Two years ago, WCU opened a Resource Pantry for students facing financial hardships. The Pantry has grown exponentially serving hundreds of students. We are starting a drive to collect donations of food and personal care items for the new school year. Questions? Contact Dawn Dietrich.

Youth: Sing at a Phillies Game!

Our Youth Choir will sing the National Anthem at the Phillies game on September 29. We would love to have any youth join us for this special occasion! Sign up here. We will have details about tickets for parents/families in the next few weeks. Since we are singing the anthem from memory, we will rehearse in August to prepare. Questions? Contact Bob Morris.

Do You Enjoy Driving?

The ZOOM volunteer driver program is expanding rapidly and is looking to provide rides for new agencies. Their partnership with CVIM proves to be very popular and successful. ZOOM is recruiting drivers for La Comunidad Hispana and the West Chester Food Cupboard! Clients must live in the West Chester school district so this means short trips. These rides will be on Thursdays. Contact Linda Conzentino if you would like to help out. Questions? Contact Burt Rothenberger.

Choir Canada Trip Returns

Several members of our Chancel Choir returned home this weekend from a week of fellowship in Canada.
