Help Our Neighbors in Haiti

The scale of the disaster facing Haiti after the Aug 14 earthquake and the aftereffects are becoming clearer. The quake and its aftershocks have left almost 1,300 people dead, thousands more injured and an unknown number of people are still missing. At least 13,000 homes were destroyed and roads, bridges and communication systems have been severely damaged. This catastrophe comes on top of Haiti’s ongoing struggles with endemic hunger and poverty, COVID-19, Tropical Storm Grace and continuing civil unrest bears down on the region. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) is providing emergency relief and short-term recovery in the impacted areas. Please pray with us for the communities affected by this event and consider supporting the work of PDA in Haiti and around the world, give online by clicking here.

Meet Javy Diaz

You're not going to want to miss Sunday! We welcome guest preacher, Javy Diaz, Senior Church Advisor with World Vision, where he works with churches, schools, and community leaders. He joins us for a powerful message and a bold invitation based on Matthew 25. Javy loves to educate, equip and encourage the body of Christ by sharing his story of brokenness and redemption and the hope and healing that is available through the gift of community. He is the husband of Sarah Grace Diaz, and the father of Ezra, Shiloh, and Gideon. Javy has experienced World Vision’s work in Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Haiti, and Lebanon and has seen what the Kingdom of God looks like when it’s operating at the community level.

Become a Sunday School Teacher!

We're looking for a few teachers for our middle school Sunday School class this year, beginning September 12. Middle school (Grades 6-8) is an awesome age group to work with, as they're creative, ask great questions, and can bring a lot of joy to our Sunday morning class. Interested? Contact Chris Clark for more info.
