Progress has been made in the investigation of the check stealing ring, which has impacted churches in the region including Westminster. While an arrest was made locally this past week, we are hesitant to say the case has been solved, as it has been a widespread issue. We encourage you to be vigilant in monitoring your monthly bank and giving statements for checks written. We endorse all Giving checks with a WPC stamp, therefore, you can easily determine if we received your check. We strongly advise members to use our online giving platform to avoid sending checks through the mail, and online giving improves efficiency in processing donations.
