MLK Day is Cancelled, But You Can Celebrate at Home

Tomorrow's MLK Day Event is cancelled due to extreme cold and black icy conditions expected in the early morning when we would be traveling to church. Safe Harbor lunches will be packed 9am on Tuesday morning at Westminster.  If you would like to join us please Sue Spotts.

You can still honor MLK Day by doing some at home activities that begin our 40 Days of Kindness Initiative.  See the attached letter, Kindness Journal; and quotes of encouragement for your family.  An Act of Kindness Chain and Journal/Kindness Cards were given to the families at church today, but you can also make your own. Over the next 40 days write your 'act of kindness' on a piece of construction paper link (one per person in your family each day) and create a 'Chain of Kindness'.  After 40 Days & 40 Kindness links bring your completed 40 Links Chain of Kindness to WPC.  We will join our Chains of Kindness together!

Join us Sunday, March 24 from 4-5:30pm for a Parent Connect Family Workshop to meet author Lisa Barrickman, author of A Case for Kindness: 40 Ways to Love & Inspire Others.
