Westminster is excited to announce that we are partnering with First Presbyterian Church of West Chester to bring you a 24-Hour Stop Hunger Now Packaging Event.  On April 29 and 30 we will run a 24-hour event during which we will package 120,000 meals in Spellman Hall.  To accomplish this goal, we will need lots of volunteers.  This event is open to anyone who wants to participate; i.e., youth groups, scout troops, college and/or high school teams - all are welcome!  Anyone five years old and older may participate in this family-friendly event.

We expect this event to involve over 700 volunteers from both congregations as well as the community.  To register for a 2-hour volunteer shift, sign up here.


Stop Hunger Now Dine and Donate

Several fundraisers will take place where the proceeds donated will be used to defray the $34,800 cost of holding this event:

  • Monday, January 25, dine any time at Landmark Americana West Chester and 25% of your total check will benefit the event.  Please support the event by printing out the attached flyer and giving it to your server.

  • Tuesday, February 9 dine in or take out at Iron Hill Brewery in West Chester and 20% of your total check will benefit the event.  Print out the coupons, share with some of your friends or family, and give coupon to your server.

  • Thursday, March 10, dine at PJ Whelihans West Chester from 5:00-9:00 p.m. and 15% of your total check will benefit the event.  Print out the attached flyer and give to your server.
