Where do I fit in?

    Adult Ministry

What visitors to Westminster usually first notice is either the number of people that attend our weekly services, or the variety of ministries that serve the needs of our congregation and community.  Our size has benefits:  we're big enough for you to blend in and investigate the claims of Jesus Christ.

However, as time passes, we hope you look closer, and discover that we are actually a network of small groups.  And if you like to build authentic, meaningful relationships with others, then you will be glad to know that new groups are forming all the time and existing groups welcome newcomers.

Many people look for groups that provide common affinity.  Some people look for groups with a common interest or purpose, others enjoy being with people who are in similar "life-band".  "What is a Life-Band?", it is a rough grouping of persons in a similar situation which may correspond to age, marital status or another common denominator of life experience, such as raising children.

With so many choices of groups to join, where do I begin?  As a first step, we encourage you to find a place you can connect and also a place where you can serve.

Here are a few ideas to help you start to get connected:

Together, we're striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible - a church with relevant teaching, inspiring worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need.  In short, we'd like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.

Whether you're already a part of our family or coming through our doors for the very first time, we want you to find a place for learning, celebration and encouragement.

    A place for you.  Welcome!
