Infant Baptisms are scheduled on the second Sunday of every month.  Any parent who is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church is welcome to present his/her child for baptism.  Baptism is a celebration of God's covenant with His people, a sign of God's grace, and the "initiation rite" into the community of faith. The congregation, as well as the parents, take vows to raise the child in the Lord.  A parent may invite special friends to stand up front during a child's baptism, but the Presbyterian church has no vows for godparents.   Prior to the baptism of a child, parents are required to attend a baptism class which is held the last Sunday of every month (except December).  To schedule a baptism for a child, contact the church office or one of the pastors.

Adult baptisms are celebrated whenever a person "of age" professes faith in Christ for the first time, and if the person has not been baptized in another Christian church.

The Lord's Supper is celebrated

  • The first Sunday of every month at all services.

  • Every Wednesday in the Chapel Service.

  • At special services throughout the year:  Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Thanksgiving.

Elders and Deacons also extend the serving of communion to members (who are not able to worship on the church campus) in their homes on a regular basis throughout the year; and pastors will celebrate the sacrament with members in home or hospital upon request.
